Artisanware: Autumn Fair 2001

Yesterday afternoon the artisan fair "Fira de Tardor 2001" opened in the Paseo Vara de Rey in Eivissa where some twenty artisans of the Pitiüses are participating.

The Fira de Tardor 2001, organised by the Asociación de Artesanos de Eivissa y Formentera, can be visited until October 8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 10 p.m.

According to the Federation of the PYME de Eivissa y Formentera (PIMEEF), the business organisation that the Asociación de Artesanos de Eivissa y Formentera belongs to, "if the Plaça d'Art represents traditionally the start of the tourist season congregating a large number of visitors, it is hoped that the Fira de Tardor represents a further attraction for the visitors when the season begins to decline."
