From October 2 to 30, the Cultural Hall of "
Sa
Nostra" in Eivissa will hold an exhibition "Picasso. Ceràmiques",
that shows some fifty works by Pablo Picasso (1881-1973).
The exhibition, that has the collaboration of the Council of Eivissa
and Formentera and the Obra Social i Cultural of "Sa Nostra", portrays
one of the most unknown facets of the ingenious artist from Malaga, that
of ceramics.
The Picasso ceramics that are being presented come from the Fons de
la Fundació Serra and from the art collection of the Mallorcan editor
Pere Serra.
It is calculated that Picasso created some 3,500 pieces of ceramic work
between 1946 and 1973.
