Santa Gertrudis de Fruitera: Patron Saint Fiestas

Santa Gertrudis de Fruitera, in the municipality of Santa Eulària des Riu, is celebrating these days their Patron Saint Fiestas with a whole range of activities that started on October 28 with the celebration of the animal fair "Fira Ramadera Can Caus".

One of the most important events that has been held during the first days of the programme is the opening of the new square of Santa Gertrudis, on November 9.

On Friday, November 16, the day of the Santa Gertrudis, there will be a mass, a procession and traditional dances. At night, open air music and dance with the band Sabor Tropical and in the end there will be a grand firework display.

The central activity for Saturday 17 is the concert by the local group Pota Lait, and on Sunday 18 there will be several sports activities.

The activities will continue the following weekend, form the 23th to the 25th, with the billiards and table football championships that will be celebrated at the Ses Pistes bar; and again on December 8 and 9, when the Agility competition (RSCE) organised by the Club Agility Illa Blanca will he held.
