The Can Bonet district, in Sant Antoni, is celebrating its "Festes
de la Sagrada Família" since last Sunday. During eight days, games,
sports, festive food and music star this "festes" organised by the neighbours
association and the Sant Antoni Town Council.
These days the programme is centred in card and table football competitions,
and on Saturday there will be a motorbike race (Enduro) and Christmas Songs
by the pupils of the Can Bonet School. On Saturday afternoon there will
be a popular meeting with "torrada" of traditional sausages such as "sobrassada"
and "jarret".
The programme will end on Sunday 23, with traditional dances by the
Colla Brises de Portmany. There will also be an exhibition of drawings
by the local School, live music and a grand firework display.
