New Year's Concerts

This weekend, the two last concerts of the programme "Concerts d'Any Nou", will be held, organised by the department of Cultura of the Insular Council with the support from several parishes in Eivissa.

The concerts are offered by the Vienna Orpheon and will take place at 8.30 p.m., on Friday 4 at the church of Jesús, and on Sunday 6 at the church of the Convent de Dalt Vila in Eivissa City.

The members of the Vienna Orpheon: Lucia Krommer, Eva Fürtinger, Christa Opriessnig and Irene Schulmeister, directed by José Vázquez and accompanied by the contra tenor Thomas Künne, interpret pieces of the XVI and XVII centuries using historical string instruments from the Orpheon Foundation.
