Great Success of "Trobada de Músics per la Llengua"
The "II Trobada de Músics per la Llengua", organised by the cultural association also called Musics per la Llengua, took place in Santa Eugènia on Saturday, March 24, with a great success. Thanks to the numerous public and the 58 participant groups that performed alternatively in the two stages installed for the occasion, the second "Trobada" was a a big party stating the good health of the music in Catalan from the Balearic and Pitiüses Islands.

The participant groups where: Spaguetti, Cucorba, Serpentina, Deixa-m'ho clar, Krispats, Tu sabràs, Incomplets, Grallers de Manacor, Xeremiers de Santa Eugènia, Colla de Xeremiers, ToniTomeu, Brostada, Arpellots Havaneres, Nou Romancer, Aires Formenterencs, Mar de Música, Quart Creixent, Toni Morlà, Damià Timoner, Lluís Gili, Tomeu Penya, Al-Mayurca, Herbes Dolces, Xaloc Música, UC, Tina Servera, Marisa Rojas, Cap on nam, Pep Miquel Camps, Tomeu Quetgles Grup, Espiral d'Embulls, Llunàtiques, Això Camina, S'Arrual Jazz Mort, Estranya ment, Guillem Sansó, Inventari, Valentín Mendoza, Cap Pela, Suso Rexach, Sigui com sigui, Ocults, Mal Vici, Fora des sembrat, Amb una mica de sort, Família López, Oprimits, Agrimònia Forestal, Pedregats, Joan Toni Skarabat, Llibertat Condicional, Syphosis, Es Reboster, Límit, Que més vols, Ke Reggae Ska, Com tu and No diguis dois.

The event was attended by the mayor form Santa Eugènia, Mateu Crespí, and the mayor from Alaró, Josep Gomila. The President of the Balearic Government, Francesc Antich, and Councillor for Culture, Damià Pons, and the General Director for Linguistic Policy, Joan Melià, also visited the "Trobada".
