The small village of Sa Cala, on the north of
the island, is celebrating this week the festivities of its patron saint,
Sant Vicent, with a programme of activities that foresees this Friday the
typical mass and procession at midday, and in the evening, a concert by
the Orquesta Tanit that will end at midnight with a grand firework display.
But Sa Cala has more to offer a visitor. Next Sunday there will be a
giant popular paella in the Port of Sa Cala, and on Saturday 13 the Fiesta
for the village Pensioners. On April 14, the keenest and those who like
walking can get up early to participate in the walk to Sant Carles. The
return will be easier: by bus. After which there will be a grand barbecue
in the School, where now there is the "Camp d'Aprenentatge d'Eivissa".

Catalan
version of the news.
