Sa Punta des Molí in the bay of Portmany

Sa Punta des Molí in the bay of Portmany
In the south of the bay of Portmany, the public property, Punta des Molí is one of the most unique places in the municipality of Sant Antoni de Portmany.  In the area, recently restored and open to visitors, is the Sa Punta des Molí -one of the three old flour mills of the municipality-, the "sènia" -traditional hydraulic construction to extract water from underground with the strength of a mule-, the "trull" -an ancient premises destined for the production of olive oil-, the peasant's house -today converted in a temporary exhibition hall- and a newly built outside auditorium.

Around sa Punta des Molí there are also some interesting fishermen's huts and slips, and the ancient well Es Pouet, on the beach of the same name and the underwater fountain of freshwater, es Broll.

Summer visiting hours from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. free entry.
