The best jazz, in Eivissa as from July 23

The Eivissa Jazz Festival is approaching. From July 23 to 27 Es Portal Nou will fill with good music. Happily recovered a few years ago, this festival gathers together a selection of young groups from Eivissa and the rest of Spain, and an important international presence. This year is the 13th edition, occupying a well deserved space in the Spanish jazz scene.

On July 23 in the Parc Reina Sofia there will be performances by Arteca Swing + Fussió and David Murray Big Band (all the concerts start at 9.30 p.m.) On July 24 the mix of sounds by Zur-E-Gura (from the Basque Country) and Jerry González Quartet. On 25th, Alberto Sánchez Group and the Finish group, U-Street All Stars.

On July 26, the fourth day of the jazz festival organised by Injuve with collaboration from the Eivissa town council, the Island Council and the Balearic Government, there will be performances by Susana Raya & Ángel Andrés Jazz Duo and the Valencian group de Perico Sambeat Quartet. On July 27, the festival will end with the Catalan group Llibert Fortuny Trio and Dee Dee Bridgewater.
