Folk weekend in Eivissa

On Saturday, October 26, the second "Mostra Folklòrica Ciutat d'Eivissa" will start in Eivissa town, organised by colla de sa Bodega together with the Eivissa Council and the Consell. As from 8.30 p.m. in the plaza Julià Verdera, in the paseo de ses Figueretes, the following groups will perform: Virgen de la Vega (Murcia), Colla de Vila (Eivissa), Alegría Berciana (from Ponferrada, León) and Ocle, from the Asturian town of Gozón.

The end to the fiesta will be on Sunday, as from 5.30 p.m. with a street parade from ses Figueretes to the paseo de s'Alamera. On reaching Vara de Rey, the same groups as on Saturday, will perform, except la colla de Vila, replaced by la Colla de sa Bodega, the final point of the festival. Each of the groups will perform for 20 minutes.
