Until February 3, the exhibition of over 300 etchings and works of
art that make up the XVII edition of the biennial Ibizagrafic can
be visited in the Museu d'Art Contemporani d'Eivissa.
The Galician artist Ana de Matos (Lugo 1963) with works with a feminist
theme, has been the winner in this present edition, with Carima Illera
and David Trillo in second and third place respectively. Not much
information can be found about Ana de Matos on the Net, but still one can
see this painting of hers,
"Nowhere
Man IV", or this other, without a name, in the directory of
Hispanart.
Ibizagrafic 2002 is a biennial were artists from 23 countries participate.
The winner has the right to organise an exhibition of her work in the MACE
next year.
