The cloister of the Eivissa Town Council is holding until February
5 the exhibition "Dones d'Àfrica" with photographs by Cati Cladera
(Palma, 1962) and interviews by Montse Pablo (Madrid, 1968) carried out
in Burkina Faso, with the support of the General Direction of Cooperation
of the Balearic Government and the NGOs Mallorca Amiga and Gascode. The
exhibition deals in depth with the daily struggle that women have to be
able to survive and the vicious circle of poverty that traps most of the
African continent.
The exhibition "Dones d'Àfrica"
was
already presented at the Casal Solleric in Palma, now it reaches Eivissa
and later Formentera thanks to the collaboration of the Fons Pitiús
de Cooperació.
