Children's Carnival Parade, the main novelty in the Ibizan Carnival

A batucada (samba percussionists) tomorrow afternoon at 6.30 will show the start of the fiestas of 'Carnestoltes' (Carnival) in Ibiza town, that this year has a budget of around 63,000 euros.

The main novelty this year will be the organisation of a children's parade that will go round the streets of the Vila on Sunday morning, as from 11 a.m. The adult Rua will leave on Saturday afternoon as usual. In the evening there will be music in the Paseo de Vara de Rey by David Torres & Latin Band.
