Fiestas in Sant Rafel

The Sant Rafel Parish (1785), part of the municipality of Sant Antoni de Portmany, has been celebrating since October 10 their patron saint fiestas, with many cultural, religious and sports activities for all ages.

An exhibition of plants, several concerts and dances, championships and tournaments, a conference on environment and traditional games are some the festive proposals of the programme for this year.

The central part of the programme will be held on Friday, October 24, the day of Sant Rafel. At noon mass followed by the traditional procession, traditional dances by the Colla de Sant Rafel and an aperitif for everybody. At 8 p.m., there will by music by the "Aquarela do Brasil" and the orchestra "Alcántara".
