The IEE takes the "Festa de la Nit de Sant Joan" to Sant Rafel
The IEE and the neighbours' association are preparing a big party.
The Institut d'Estudis Eivissencss (IEE) will celebrate next Wednesday, June 23, the traditional "Nit de Sant Joan", itinerant party that is held every year in a different town of the Island. This year's town will be Sant Rafel de sa Creu and according to the organisers, "it will be a big party organised together with the neighbours' association, the Plataforma and other local organisations". The guest artists will be Aires Formenterencs, Pota Lait and Colla de Sant Rafel.
During the festivity the research prizes "Nit de Sant Joan" will be given and the Manifest will be read, in which, since 1973, the IEE states its point of view about the cultural and social reality of the Pitiüses.
More information about the "Nit de Sant Joan" can be found on this special section of the web of the IEE. As usual, the event will begin at 9.00 p.m. and will end with nine bonfires.
