The Contemporary Art Museum (MAC) in Eivissa is holding two new exhibitions:
"Fotografia contemporània a Mallorca", on the first floor, and "Darreres
aportacions a les col·leccions del Museu, any 2001", on the second
floor.
The exhibition "Fotografia contemporània a Mallorca", that can
be visited until November 18, presents the work by fourteen well known
photographers: Toni Catany (Llucmajor, 1942), Joan Ramon Bonet (Palma,
1944), Gabriel Ramon (Troyes, França, 1948), Pedro Coll (Maó,
1947), Pere Colom (Sóller, 1955), Gabriel Lacomba (Palma, 1965),
Antoni Socias (Inca, 1955), Agustí Torres (Sant Llorenç des
Cardassar, 1965), Juan Antonio Briñas (Vitoria, 1945), Miquel Czernikowski
(Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1960), Miguel Font (Palma, 1948), Joan
Miquel Ferrà (Palma, 1951), Pepe Cañabate (Palma, 1952) and
Carlos Barrantes (Madrid, 1960).
The exhibition "Darreres aportacions a les col·leccions del Museu,
any 2001", that can be visited until January 31, 2002, presents works by
Erwin Broner, Toni Cardona, Gary Cook, Pep Marí, Paco Romero, Simone
Schander, Pepe Tauste, Rafael Tur Costa and Josep Vallribera.
