Cinema from Africa

From November 2 to december 14, the first show on African cinema "Mostra de Cinema de l'Àfrica" will be held on Mallorca, Menorca, Eivissa and Formentera, organised by the General Direction of Cooperation of Ministry of Wellfare of the Balearic Government.

On Mallorca the show will take place on November 2, 3 and 4 at the "Sa Nostra" Cultural Centre in Palma, and on November 14, 15 and 16 at the Auditori d'Alcúdia; on Menorca, November 22, 23 and 24 at the Sala Augusta in Maó; on Formentera, December 6, 7 and 8 at the Sala Municipal de Cultura in Sant Francesc Xavier; and on Eivissa, December 12, 13 and 14 at Can Ventosa. The show will start every day at 7 p.m. and the films will be in their original version with Catalan or Spanish subtitles.

To complement to the films, there will be a photographic exhibition, called "MOUSSO, Mirada de dona."
