Natural Park of Cala d'Hort
The Balearic Government, in the Government Cabinet meeting, has declared the "Parc Natural de Cala d'Hort, Cap Llentrisca i Sa Talaia, i les Reserves Naturals des Vedrà i Es Vedranell i dels Illots de Ponent", that are in the Ibizan municipality of Josep de sa Talaia. They have also passed the corresponding Plan for the Organisation of the Natural Resources (PORN), the rules for the new protected natural area that has been exhibited to the public since its initial approval on 29 June, 2001.

The extension of the natural park is  2.773,31 ha, of which 2.208,81 ha are land and 564,50 ha are sea. This area includes the 79,39 ha of natural reserve of Es Vedrà and Es Vedranell and the 154,94 ha of the Illots de Ponent, areas considered by the approved PORN as areas of strict protection.

The Eivissa and Formentera Council has expressed its satisfaction for the approval of the PORN of Cala d'Hort. The insular institution considers the approved norm will permit the correct protection and economic development of one of the most valuable ecological places on Eivissa.
