Santa Eulària Fiestas

Santa Eulària is celebrating these days its patron saint fiestas with an extensive and varied programme of event that will continue until March 3.

The programme includes many sports activities for all ages, such a children's fishing, duatlo, squash, handball, football, and even a regatta. It also includes several concerts and shows, for example, a rock night with the group Smoking Stones, a performance by the group Xarop de Canya and a classical guitar concert by Christian Enrico Sciubba.

Worth mentioning, amongst other activities, is the opening of the paths leading up to the Puig the Missa and the other renovation works held on the mountain, that will be celebrated on Sunday 10, as from 11.30 p.m., with an exhibition of classic cars and motorbikes, with a handicraft and animal fair, and with a balloon party. Also worth stressing are the traditional events that will be held on Tuesday morning, February 12, the day of Sant Eularia: the street parade, the solemn mass and the procession at the Puig de Missa, as well as the traditional dances known as Ball Pagès, that will be held outside the church.
