Sant Agustí opens Can Curt

Last Saturday, March 30, the Mayor of Sant Josep, José Serra Escandell, presided the inauguration of Can Curt, a reformed old country house opposite the church in the small village of Sant Agustí.

The new building will be used as the social centre for different association in Sant Agustí and will be able to hold exhibitions and other cultural and social events. On the opening day, a photographic exhibition was held, by Pep Pere Guerxo and Vicent Trull. Amongst other programmed events, there was also an exhibition of traditional dancing by sa Colla des Vedrà, an artisan exhibition, children's entertainment and the performance of the 'rondalla' (fable) "Es malalt", by the theatrical group Es Vedrà.
