The diffuse reality by Eduard Resbier returns to the Van der Voort
The artist from Barcelona opens his second exhibition on Eivissa this Friday

An old friend of the Van der Voort, where he exhibited two years ago, the artist from Barcelona, Eduard Resbier, returns this Friday to the gallery of the Plaça de Vila. The vernissage will take place at 8 p.m. and the work can be visited until the end of next month.

Resbier, born in 1968, assumes abstraction in his work in figurative terms. The sea or some urban landscapes, more mental than real, appear constantly in his paintings, that appear to be unfocused.  The last exhibition of work by Resbier was in Santiago de Compostela at the Galería Trinta, but examples of his work can be seen on the web of the Galería Fabjbasaglia de Rimini (Italia), where he exhibited in 2000, and the Galería José María Castellví, in Barcelona, where he also presented his paintings in 1997. On the web by Hispanart there is also a file for this artist, who is placed by the critics as nearest to the poetic  neoromantics Friedrich, Turner and Constable.
