The GEN demand the protection of Ses Feixes

El GEN-GOB Eivissa demands in a communiqué the protection of the wetlands of Ses Feixes in Eivissa. According to the ecologist organisation, part of the lands of Ses Feixes are considered by the General Urban Plan of the city of Eivissa as urban and they request the Town Council to reclassify them as rural to assure their protection.

The GEN points out in the communiqué that Ses Feixes are part of the Catalogue of Wetlands of the Balearic Government and demand the creation of a urban park to protect the areas that remain natural.

Ses Salines, an area protected as Natural Park, and Ses Feixes are the two only wetlands on the Pitiüses islands.
