The Museu d'Art Contemporani d'Eivissa (MACE), situated in Dalt Vila,
is holding until October 20 the exhibition "Hic et nunc" that groups a
selection of works by eight young artist from the Pitiüses islands
born between 1958 and 1968. The exhibition is sponsored by the
CAM
and commissioned by Elena Ruiz, director of the MACE, and the participant
artists are: Christ Off, Enric Riera, Gary Cook, Paco Romero, María
Catalán, Mario de Ayguavives, Rom Ero and Simone Schander.
More over, the MACE exhibition hall situated in the old church of L'Hospitalet,
also in Dalt Vila, will hold from September 6 to October 18 the exhibition
"Pensar no pensar res i després de pensar no pensar res" by the
young Ibizan artist, Yolanda Montesa. In this exhibition, which
could
already be seen last year at the Espai Ramon Llull in Palma, the artist
presents her recent work consisting of photographs, objects made in daily
materials and texts full of poetry and plays on words
