Festival "Eivissa i Formentera clàssiques"
The concert by the pianist Ramon Coll and the performance by the Balearic Symphony Orchestra, the main events of the programme

A place that is loaded with history, as is the Sala de la Ciudad of the Eivissa Castle, will hold this Friday (from 8.30 in the evening) a Baroque violin and harpsichord concert by Lina Tur Bonet, that is the start of the ninth music festival "Eivissa i Formentera Clàssiques".

There will be eight concerts on Eivissa and Formentera.  This Saturday at 8.30 p.m. at the Auditori de Cas Serres, in Vila, there will be a concert by the music bands from Ciutat d'Eivissa and la Vila Joiosa (Castelló). At the same time, on Formentera, Lina Tur will give another concert in the Sant Francesc church.

On Friday, next week, the Orquestra Simfònica de Balears, will visit Eivissa, and will play as from 9 p.m. in the church of the Convent, in Dalt Vila, conducted by Edmon Colomer. The following day, in the Auditorio de Cas Serres, Ramon Coll will give a piano concert (8.30 p.m.). Also, on Saturday of next week, in the Mola fiestas, Juan Morilla will give a classical and flamencan guitar concert in the Pilar church (8 p.m.)

To end the festival, on Sunday 13, in the Sala de ses Voltes in Castell, ancient Spanish music by Capella de Ministrers will be heard.  The concert will start at 8 p.m.
