Fiestas in Sant Rafel

Last Monday October 21, the patron fiestas in Sant Rafel started with an art exhibition by artists of the town in Mira Mira.

Next Thursday, October 24, the Patron Saint's day, the Mass in honour of Sant Rafel will take place at 12.30 followed by a procession and folk dance by Sa Colla de Sant Rafel, and the day will end at 10.30 p.m with the Orquesta Platino.

The programme will last until Sunday, October 27. Amongst other activities, on Saturday 26 at 8 p.m. the German Choir from Mallorca will perform in the church and the following day at 4.30 p.m. there will be trotting races at the Hippodrome of Sant Rafel, at 5 p.m. the Ibizan artisan exhibition will open at the Mira Mira and at 7.30 p.m. there will be a folklore festival with the participation by Sa Colla de Sant Rafel, Grup Folklòric Sant Jordi de Ses Salines, Sonadors de Sant Rafel, Xacoters de sa Torre and the folk group Ntra. Sra. de Belén la Aparecida from Orihuela.
