Tomeu Penya, the star of the fiestas of es Cubells

The Mallorcan singer, Tomeu Penya will be the guest artist in the Festes de Santa Teresa de es Cubells, one of the last of the year in the calendar of Ibizan fiestas. At a glance of the programme, the importance of the sports activities in es Cubells can be seen. In fact, the archery club is very important in the whole country.

Penya, who will perform on the main day of the festivities, October 15, will present songs from his latest record, "Això és Pecat" and he is preparing a new CD with songs in Castillian Spanish, that will be on sale at the end of the year.

Anyway, it is not the only concert that there will be in es Cubells. The groups 4 de copes, from Formentera, and Statuas de Sal, from Eivissa will also play. The main fiesta of this town of Sant Josep will end with a traditional preparation of a 'sitja' of charcoal.
