Sant Antoni fills with free software

This Friday afternoon, the first "Jornadas de Software Libre" will open in Sant Antoni. Organised by the Club Ibosim within the programme of the fiestas of the town of Portmany.

This event, that intends to promote the use of free software with an educational vocation, hopes to attract the public with activities such as the Linux Install Party, where they will show how to install some of the Linux distributions. There will also be presentations of the office suites for this operative system, such as OpenOffice and K Office, about security on the net and the project Ibosim Wireless, the connection of computers via wireless networks, will be presented. .
