Massive demo against the war

Over fifteen thousand people of all ages participated on Saturday in Eivissa in the demo against the war in Iraq. The movement, organised by the Plataforma per la Pau d'Eivissa i Formentera , was one of the most important remembered in the island.

The massive attendance at the demonstrations against the war that this Saturday have been held in the main cities all over the world is, for many observers, a clear and conclusive reflection from a society that wants to participate directly in the matters that affects it. People from all over the world who respond in a global way in solidarity to a challenge to humanity, such as living in peace.
