Meeting of the Spanish Association of Internet Users

From February 19 to 22, in the Palacio de Congresos de Madrid, the eighth edition of the Congreso Nacional de Usuarios de Internet y Movilidad, Mundo Internet 2003 will take place, organised by the AUI and sponsored by 3Com, Telefónica Data, Microsoft, Auna Telecomunicaciones and IBM , with collaboration by the Asociación de Técnicos de Informática and the Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación.

As usual there will be a big exhibition area and lectures by experts that will deal with wireless applications based on GSM, GPRS, Wifi and Bluetooth, and with the new LSSI law and the LOPD changes.

Within the opening session, the Spanish Minister for Science and Technology, Josep Piqué, will give the annual awards organised by the AUI.
