Santa Eulària changes its web and Sant Joan joins the Pitiusa cyberspace

The last few weeks have been productive in the renovation and creation of new contents by the Pitiusa town councils on Internet.  Ten days ago, as part of the  patron saint festivities, the Council of Santa Eulària presented its new web.  The cost of the renovation that will make the updating of the site easier, has been 18.000 euros.

The new web, that only has a Spanish version, includes tourist information of interest and  municipal explanations.  They also explained in the press conference that there would be a part time employee for the maintenance of the site.  Santaeulalalia.net also integrates the portal for payment of taxes, santaeularia.com, that was set up two years ago.

Meanwhile, without making much fuss (there is no record of any public presentation) the official page of the Town Hall of Sant Joan de Labritja is already on line.  The page, simpler than that of Santa Eularia, offers basic information about the municipality in Catalan, Spanish, French, English and German.  In this way, Eivissa es now the only municipality without a web.
