Demonstrations against the war

After the success of the previous demonstrations, the Plataforma per la Democràcia i la Globalització Social has announced a new demonstration against the war in Iraq, that will be held on Saturday, March 29, at 5.30 p.m. The meeting point is the Plaza de Espanya in Palma. The Platform has also invited the public to participate in the critical mass bike ride against war that will take place on Thursday 27, at 7.30 p.m. leaving from the Plaza de Espanya.

As for the Pitiüses, the Plataforma per la Pau has organised new demonstrations against the war for Saturday, March 29, at 7 p.m. in Paseo Vara de Rey in Eivissa and at the same time in the square of the Formentera Town Hall. Moreover the Plataforma per la Pau has announced that they will organise demonstrations until the war ends, every Saturday at 7 p.m., both in the Paseo Vara de Rey in Eivissa and in the square of the Formentera Town Hall.

In Menorca, after the massive demonstration that was held last Saturday in Maó, the platform Menorca per la Pau will meet today to decide the dates of new demonstrations to protest against the war.
