Es Pujols will be the scene on Monday, June 16, of the gathering of
wine cellars that is organised every two years by the Ibizan wine shop
Enotecum,
with the objective of explaining in depth the preparation and marketing
of wines. According to Xavier Escandell, the coordinator, initially
the event was to have been held in the gardens of the Restaurant Toro Bravo
des Pujols, but there has been so much demand that the fair will also occupy
the neighbouring discotheque Típic.
This year some twenty wine cellars from all over Spain will also participate,
as well as the four Ibizan ones: Tanys Mediterranis, Can Ric, Can
Maimó and Sa Cova. At the entrance, the public will acquire an empty
wine glass for 12 euros, with which all the wines presented in the fair
can be sampled. The sampling will start at 5 p.m. and will end around
10 p.m.
On October 27, the event Vini Terraneus will be held again on the island
of Eivissa.
