Paintings by Lesley in the Mira-Mira in Sant Rafel

The art space of the Mira-Mira, in Sant Rafel, will open on Friday, July 4, at 8.30 p.m., an exhibition by Lesley, British artist artist resident in Eivissa. The exhibition, that can be visited until July 19, is called "Closeups & Seascapes" and groups some 10 large format paintings. The "Closeups" are paintings where she reflects different paintings with the close-up technique, and the "Seascapes" are paintings inspired by Ibizan coastal landscapes on the island.

Lesley has carried out several exhibitions on Formentera and on Eivissa, the most recent in the cultural centre of Santa Eulària. She has also presented her work in England and in Germany. She studied design in Birmingham but in oil painting she is self-taught.
