Program of activities around March 18.
Sant Josep de sa Talaia is celebrating these days its patron Saint Festivities. Next Saturday, March 11, there will be a cycling race, an archery competition, and the day will end with the Festival Rock at S'Olivera. The day after, Sunday 12, there will be a competition of clay pigeon shooting and the traditional climb to the Chapel of En Serra, organised by the Associació de Vesins de sa Raval.
The programme of events will continue on Wednesday 15, with the final of the wine contest of Sant Josep, organised by Enotecum; and on Friday 17 there will be a Flower Power Party outside the Church, as from 9.30 p.m. On Saturday 18, amongst other activities, there will be a Rock made in Ibiza night with performances by Estatuas de Sal and Can Raia Rock Band.
Finally, on Sunday 19, the day of Sant Josep, the traditional mass and procession will take place, followed by a performance by the Folk Group of Sant Josep de Sa Talaia. The same day, as from 7 p.m., there will be performances by the Asociación provincial de Coros y Danzas de Granada, Agustín el Casta, Pota Lait and La Madre que nos Parió. The day will end with the a fire work display.
