Educational visits to the natural park of Cala d'Hort
Next Tuesday, November 19, at the property Ca'n Sorą there will be the first trip for environment education to the natural park Cala d'Hort, cap Llentrisca and sa Talaia with groups of school children from primary education.  If any school or institute wishes to arrange a trip during the 2002/03 school year, they should contact the team of environment educators on tel. 971 301 420.  Via the same number a visit can be arranged for visits on Saturdays by other groups of people interested in seeing the park.

Last February 15 the Balearic Government declared the "Parc Natural de cala d'Hort, cap Llentrisca i sa Talaia, i les Reserves Naturals des Vedrą i es Vedranell i dels Illots de Ponent", in the municipality of Sant Josep de sa Talaia.  The area of the natural park is 2,773.31 hectares, of which 2,208.81 are on land and 564.50 are marine.  This area includes 79.39 hectares of the natural reserve Es Vedrį and Es Vedranell, and 154.94 hectares of the Islotes de Ponent.
