On Saturday, September 22, more than 900 European municipalities will
participate in the
"In town, without
my car!" day, with a view to giving the public the opportunity to practice
other forms of mobility alternative to the private car and to offer them
the
possibility of rediscovering the city, its inhabitants and its heritage.

this year, programming a day without cars which is included in the First
Environmental Week that is being held these days in the City.
The First Environmental Week, organised within the framework of the
Local Agenda 21 promoted by the Eivissa City Council, includes a wide range
of informative, sports and technical activities that intend
to commit
al the public to the environmental protection and improvement
process that the Ibizan capital follows. The events started last Monday
and will continue until Saturday, the most complete day of the programme.
On Saturday, the Day without cars, there will be an ecological agriculture
market and environmental workshops installed on the Vara de Rey square;
exhibitions, games and sports at different points of the City, and environmental
circuits that will start at the same Vara del Rey square. On the Passeig
