Gastronòmica-Cultural Pitiüsa, on October 19 the "I Jornades
de Cuina Pitiüsa" began at the
Hotel
Royal Plaza in Eivissa. The people participating in these days prepare
and taste Ibizan and Formenteran traditional dishes. The activity is held
on Saturdays. On November 2 they will cook "carn de vedella amb salseta"
(beef with sauce), "farinetes", "orelletes" and "panellets" (sweet biscuits).
And on November 9 they will prepare "ossos amb col" (bones with cabbage),
"gerret escabetxat" (fish with sauce of vinegar), "macarrons de Sant Joan"
(pasta) and "bunyols" (doughnuts).
